I've been doing a lot of reorganizing lately, including my vanity and it inspired me to pick out some of my favorite palettes in my collection. It was not easy to narrow them down by any means so I sorted them into three categories: Warm, Cool, and Accent/Fun Palettes (aka a palette I wouldn't necessarily use on it's own).

Even after sorting them, I still wanted to include more but then that would kind of defeat the purpose wouldn't it?

Warm Palettes:

I decided to just choose three palettes for each category and boy that was really tough considering I own almost exclusively warm toned palettes (who knew!). My top picks came down to Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette (of course), Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette and the Sephora Pro Warm Palette. These three palettes are incredibly pigmented, easy to blend and have a stunning selection of warm tones. I am all about those red, burgundy, and orange colors.

Cool Palettes:

It wasn't easy to pick three of my favorite cool toned palettes because I don't own very many it would turn out! I'm not surprised honestly, I really hate cool tones on myself. I almost never wear blues, cool greys or purples because again, hate them! However, when I do wear them these are the palettes I reach for. I love Lime Crime's Venus 2 Palette and Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette for how amazingly grungy they are and Kat Von D Beauty's Metal Matte Palette contains some of the best shimmer shadows I own and the mattes are pretty fabulous too!

Accent/Fun Palettes:

My final category is all about fun, bright colors and glitter! Accent Palettes are how I jazz up a look if you will, adding some bold color or glitter to pump it up. My favorites include Kat Von D's Pastel Goth Palette, which I almost didn't buy because I had little interest in it but then I got it for my birthday and it's AMAZING! I almost think of it as a palette filled with the perfect colorful transition shades as they are all a lovely, muted pastel color. Urban Decay's Electric Palette and Moondust Palette also made the cut because they are the best of their kind! The Electric Palette is so bold and pigmented, and the Moondust Palette pressed glitters are sooooooooo pretty.

There you have it! What are some of your favorite palettes?
