Today's post is a lip art tutorial. Since my last lip look was pink and girly I thought for this post I'd switch things up and go for a dark and edgy look. There's three different ways you can rock this look, as you'll see from the step by step below.
You can wear just the blue metallic base on its own for standout statement lips. For a pop art effect, add the red dots on top, which would be great for cosplay.
For full-on editorial vibes, go for the finished look which is with the lip design painted on.
Hope you enjoy this look!

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:
Step 1: Begin with a cool-toned metallic blue matte base. I used MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallic in Moon Landing.
Step 2: For a multi-faceted effect and to add dimension, apply a lighter shade of metallic blue to the center of lips. I used European Body Art Vibe Water- Based Airbrush Makeup in Sky and layered essence Metal Shock Powder on top.
Step 3: To add even more depth and dimension, I used Huda Beauty Obsessions Palette in Sapphire. Define and contour the outer edges in a royal blue shade and add light to the center with a reflective shade.
Step 4: To embellish the lip design I used European Body Art Vibe Water- Based Airbrush Makeup in Pink, White, Black. Begin with pink dots all over the lips. Then trace around the pink dots with white, you can skip a few to create a more random look. Finally, use the black shade to create the branches. Create small swiggly lines to connect a few of the dots. Don’t add the black all over or it will overwhelm the look.
Step 5: Finish with a bit of gloss for a high-shine look. I used NYX Shimmer Down Lip Veil in Sweet Mama.
