Hey everyone!

Today I will be showing you my technique to do a dry marble nail art design. This can be difficult at first, mainly by trying to find what polishes work best, and how many *swirls* to do in the design without making it become *muddy* looking. But as I always say, practice makes perfect, so keep trying! I still have ones that don't come out good.  Let's get straight into it!!

First I chose 3 colors for this Dry Marble; A reddish orange, gold glitter, and black.

Then you will need a toothpick to do the swirls, and a topcoat for later.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

  1. Paint a thick coat of your base color, don't let it dry!!!
  2. While your base color is still wet, apply 3 dots each of your other 2 colors (as shown below).
  3. After applying your colors, take your toothpick and started swirling around the colors.
  4. Let it dry for about 10 minutes, and then apply your topcoat!

TIPS:

Once again, if it doesn't come out the way you like it, just try again! I know it can get frustrating, but take a breather, then try it again. Eventually you will get a good rhythm in your head of how you need to do it, so it will work best for you. Also, if when your swirling, and you can see a line of your bare nail, don't freak out! Just take your toothpick again, and put your base color on it, and stipple it on where you can see your nail. Problem fixed!
