In my today's post I'd like to review Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation.
It's a very affordable drugstore product and I generally am a big fan of Catrice makeup. They follow latest trends in makeup and are super affordable and the quality of the products are amazing. I love their nail polishes, eyebrow pencils, concealers and foundations...well, basically everything they offer!
This foundation is ideal for oily to combination skin, for somebody who is looking to get that 24HR mattifying effect but also it's lightweight and feels like a second skin. I purchased this product mostly for using it on photoshoots for my blog and for filming videos, as it has that awesome photo ready HD effect.
My skin has turned quite dry since I became a Mum, so I found that this foundation wasn't ideal for my skin type anymore, as it can accentuate the dryness of your skin. But still, I didn't want to waste a good product, so I came to an idea on how I can make it work even for my super dry skin! By mixing it with natural argan oil or natural rose oil, this foundation turned exactly into what my skin needed and so I was able to use it up completely.
I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with oily/ combination skin, who is on the lookout for a great drugstore foundation. It's ideal for those long days at work, but also for evenings out and special occasions, when you know you'll get photographed loads and you want to look your best.
I like that it has a pretty good color selection, and I was very pleased with the shade #020 Rose Beige.
Will I repurchase it?
Honestly, I don't think that I will, but just because this formula no longer suits my skin type. My dry skin needs something way more hydrating, something that will have that glowy and radiant effect.
However, as I've said this is amazing product for oily/ combination skin type, for mattifying and giving you great coverage without feeling heavy on your skin.
