  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in "Rockstar" - about $18.00
  • Makeup Forever Eyeshadow in "M110 Cement (Matte)" - about $21.00
  • MAC Lip Pencil in "Cyber World" - about $16.00
  • Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Bronzer - about $12.00
  • Yves Saint Laurent Gossy Stain in " 3 Brun Cachemire" - about $36.00
  • Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in "Homegirl" - about $21.00
  • Kat Von D Tattoo Liquid Liner in Trooper Black - about $19.00
  • Benefit High Beam Liquid Face Highlight - about $26.00
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow: Shade  Blackout - blackest black matte - about $18.00

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

  1. After applying your favorite foundation of choice highlight and contour your face. I used Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Bronze for my contour, and focused on my cheeks and nose. For my highlight I used Benefit's High Beam Liquid Highlight and focused on my eyelids, under my brow arch and my upper cheek bones. Blend well.
  2. Dab some liquid highlight on your eyelids and pat to blend. I used my Benefit High Beam for this also.
  3. In the crease of the eyes, apply a matte grey shade like Makeup Forever's Matte "M110 Cement." Blend in the crease lightly, don't overdo it. This will just be a subtle accent to the eye crease. We want the purple lips to be the focus on this look and the key to that is not overdoing the eyes. Add a tiny bit of grey to the outer part of the lower lashline.
  4. Apply a light purple eyeshadow such as Urban Decay's Flash to the bottom lashline of the eyes. Sweep this shade across the entire lower lashline. Then, with a darker shade of purple such as Urban Decay's Rockstar, accent the outer bottom lashline of the eyes and blend midway across to the lighter purple. This will leave the lighter purple on the inner lashline, giving the look a nice accent and pop of purple but without overdoing it.
  5. Line the top of your lashline in a sharp cat eye with Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner in Trooper Black. Extend this into the dark purple you applied to the bottom lashline.
  6. Line your lips with a matte, deep blue based purple hue such as Mac's Lip Liner in "Cyber World." Do this cleanly and then fill in the entire lip.
  7. Fill in the lips over top of your liner with another violet, matte hue such as Kat Von D's Studded Kiss Lipstick in "Homegirl." Blend in with your lipliner.
  8. Add a layer of a purple gloss to finish off your lips. I used yet another purple hue, Yves Saint Laurent Gossy Stain in " 3 Brun Cachemire." You're done!
